Excellent tomato! It is cold-hardy and delicious. It acts like a semi-determinant, more of a large bush than a vine. It produces a large crop, stops flowering until the first harvest, and then new growth with flowers for another large harvest.

Information

Developed by Stanley Jackson, who bred this species over 20 years (inbred to get a thinner and thinner skin) is on an island just off the English coast, the Isle of Wight.
A very juicy red tomato with thin skin, mid-season. Indeterminate but with average vigor and height.

In North America there is a tomato with this name but our species has nothing to do with it. The Queen of Hearts strain that Vertiloom offers is grown in the gardens of Buckingham Palace for the English Queen and is Stanley Jackson his pure strain.
Through a friend of the family, born and living on the Isle of Wight, we have included this breed in our collection two years ago.
