Very old heirloom, developed by Luther Burbank Company, California, USA. Presented in their catalog in 1917.
Also known under the names "Burbank Red Slicing" or "Burbank Slicing".
Medium large round red fruits, slightly flattened at the top.
Reasonably acidic and spicy taste, perfect for cooking/canning.
Semi indeterminate growing plants with medium development, regular foliage.
Good yields early in the season.
